Founded in 1958 by Peter L. Flangas, Esq (+2021),

Flangas Law Firm has grown to be an iconic

and well-recognized symbol of Las Vegas.

Born into a family of Greek immigrants in 1924, Peter Flangas grew up on a farm in Magna, Utah. Following his honorable discharge from the Army Air Force in 1947, Peter began his law career in 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah. There he earned his LLB and Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. He became a member of the Nevada Bar in 1958 and opened Flangas Law firm here in Las Vegas that same year.

Serving as District Attorney of Lyons County from 1962 to 1966, he left a lasting impact on the legal community. Renowned for his integrity and advocacy, he practiced law

into his late 80s, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering commitment to justice.

Sadly, Peter passed on March 17, 2021.

His legal legacy continues to live on in the form of his firm, headed by his son,

Leonidas P. Flangas, Esq.
